I've played around with polymer clay (Sculpey) for a long time. I've always had some on hand and from time to time get the urge to make something. When my oldest son who is now 11 was younger we made a series of sharks and whales with sculpey. Recently I combined my love of puppets and monsters with the clay and started making little Monster Finger Puppets to sell on Etsy. I really don't want to part with any of these little guys but this way my wife will allow me to make more. Maybe they're priced too high? Feel free to give me any feedback, I can take it. You can see by the photos that they look great in little groups. I hope they find homes that will love them like I do but if not I guess they can stay here. :) Click HERE to see my Etsy store.

I love what I do. I get to create art that helps people share the way they feel with someone else. I make greeting cards and sometimes, usually early in the day or late in the day I'll draw a little creature or monster puppet and post it somewhere in the building. Sometimes I post in a busy area like the kitchen or common areas but most of the time I post in someone's office or cubicle behind a door or below a picture frame. I've been drawing these puppets on tentacles for a few years now and I really like they way they make me feel when I look at them. Silly and a little mysterious. Some of the others I like to imagine are what tiny bacteria would look like in a Dr. Seuss book. Since I started posting these about 5 years ago some have been lost, removed or cleaned up but here is a current recording of what remains. I'm sure I'll add more in time.
